Hello, I have an AP130 that fails to update from 6.5r4 to 8.2r4 using HiveManager NG. I am trying to download the firmware manually and update using local TFTP (as suggested on other threads). When i access the download page it is blank / doesn't load. Can you please grant me access. Thank you, Brodie

Hi Eric and Brodie,

Make sure that your HiveOS software version (VHM) is at the latest version 8.2r2a in order your AP's firmware to be updated to 8.2r4 successful.

Hello Arjan,

It doesn't work, the installed firmware is too old and is not supported by the current version of HiveManager. It won't even upgrade to 6.5r3

Hello,

If you are able to download the firmware, you may be able to update it by going through a browser and going to http://[IPofAP]

Make sure you use http and not https. We had the same issue with an AP recently and this was the only way to update the AP so it was able to be used in HiveManager.

Hello,

I'm having issues updating my AP130 currently running 6.5r1b using HiveManager Connect. Each attempt via the web gui the update fails. For some reason I'm also not able to access the AP by going to the IP address of it using both HTTP and HTTPS. Please assist.

I cant understand.... how difficult is to configure or update one AP for aerohive.....
