HiveManager Select and HiveManager Classic require that you purchase an entitlement key to cover the number of devices to be managed in HiveManager. We do have a free HiveManager version available called Connect that will not ask for any entitlement keys but does not include all of the features that the paid HiveManagers do. Sam, thank you for your quick response. When I follow the supplied directions and I try to put in my serial number I get 1 of 1 devices failed to onboard.

Could you email the serial number you are trying to enter to communityhelp@aerohive.com? I can check to make sure there are no duplicate records on our side that might cause an on-boarding failure.
