How to remove an AP from Hive Manager Online via CLI

I need to adopt some APs into a new account and will like to know how to remove these APs from its current account via the APs using the CLI.

Hello,

Hivemanager's Device Inventory can't be modified from the CLI of an AP.

May I ask, what is the objective? Maybe there is another route I can advise on,

Hi David,

We are migrating APs from an MSP to our account. We have asked this MSP to remove the APs from their inventory but wanted to know if there was a way to do this from the APs itself. How can one disassociate an AP from Hive Manager so it can be added to a new account under new management?

Hi Mariano,

Please email the Serial Numbers to:

To: CommunityHelp@Aerohive.com

Subject: Serial Number Removal Request

We will remove them from the Redirector, and allow you to Onboard them to your VHM.

Optional: If you have the APs Handy, please provide Pictures of the Serial Numbers. This is not required, as they may already be Mounted.
