How to configure CWP domain name

Hello

I have configure web portal CWP with no domain first , after try connect wifi with PC then it show http://1.2.0.1 page but when access by mobile then http://1.102.0.1 , why it difference ip . So If I want configure cwp with domain name then should be point to which IP ?

please help me

If you'd like to change the IP scope that is handed out when users are connecting but still using the CWP so they aren't using your DHCP yet, you can do this by going in to Configure> Open the Network Policy> Open the SSID> Open the CWP object in use> Expand Advanced Configuration> Under Network Settings check the option next to "Customize", and enter the IP scope you would like to use. This can be any scope so long as it does not overlap with any existing subnets already on your network.

I I Try configure IP as picture but when deploy then it show error as below ?

Hello ,

I just try create another cwp then it can deploy successful , so I see on mobile and ldaptop when connect wifi as it will random with http://192.168.7.1 or http://192.168.8.1

So now I can create domain as wifi.acb.com point two ip 192.168.7.1 , 192.168.8.1 is it ok ?

But if it can create domain that point to two 2IP but when connect with wifi 2.4 GHz then it dns return ip 192.168.8.1 then what happen ? because as my understand then 8.1 is for wifi 5G

The address we're setting in the CWP settings are for users who need to get to the CWP but are not fully authenticated yet. They won't be using your DHCP or DNS until they are fully connected, and in the mean time they'll pull an IP address from the pool you are setting in the CWP settings in the picture above. This pool can be set to anything you'd like, as long as there is no conflicting IP pool already existing on your backend network.
