The next version is currently in development. At this time, there is not a specific release date for the next On-Premise HiveManager NG version.

why is there so much difference between the on-prem releases and the public-cloud release?

On the aerohive website we can see that the architecture is the same!

"HiveManager Local Cloud offers the same flexible cloud architecture, but in a simplified and highly cost-efficient infrastructure deployed on-premises."

Why does it tale so long then for a new on-prem release?

The On-Premise release will always receive features and updates after the Cloud release. The On-Premise versions are tested additional for stability because we cannot revert changes if there are any issues in the update version.

Well a new version was released but you barely updated anything. Your releasenotes basicly say you added zero new features and on the firmware side you added 8.2r5. This is not the update I hoped for...

So Im guessing we will not get anything new until september/october?


