I've been told, I can have AH APs...and a 3rd-party Router or Switch; and still have HiveManager control...right?

If so...I'm trying to decide, on an AP. I was going to use, Ubiquiti IWs; and the AP150W, most closely resembles that...in terms sof form-factor anyway. But I don't get the pricing.

Some places, it's $150; others $450. I guess some, come with the HiveManager subscription included. Is it really that much; like ~$300 per AP??

The full HiveManager product is often bundled in (look for HiveManager NG in the descriptions). With the lower price bundle you'd probably be getting a more feature limited HiveManager Connect (which can be upgraded later if desired to the full product).

You should be able to use a 3rd party router (one with embedded switch and POE support, ideally 802.3at-2009 will simplify install)
