topic RE: APs on 8.4r4 are configured with radio profiles with NO DFS - but they still change to broadcast on DFS channels in Aerohive Migrated Content

Thank you for the detailed explanation, we have been able to reproduce this in our lab and our engineers are working on a resolution. This will be released in a HiveOS update. If you'd like to open a case for this, we can always use more data. We'd want tech data pulled right after a complete upload and reboot, and then tech data again when the issue returns and you see the APs using DFS channels again.

We have a case where AP130 and AP230 on 8.4r4, managed via NGVA 12.8.2.2, are configured with 5GHz radio profiles to NOT use DFS, but after a while many of those radios do change to a DFS channel (if channel is configured to be auto, not fixed).

Which is really weird. A complete upload & reboot seemed to have fixed it, but I checked again after 1 hour and many are back on DFS channels.

As anyone else seen this before? Any idea?

PS: It's not just a display bug in Hivemanager, I can see the used DFS channel on the connected clients.
