In march 2017, we opened a case about AP issues, one of the answer was to : We can change the way they exchange information, and configure them to use unicast only with their radio neighbors instead of broadcast with everyone. According to Aerohive, this will have no negative impact on the service but it should reduce dramatically the CPU load - and fix the few instability problem you recently observed. "

How can I configure unicast exchanges between neighbors ?

Unicast to multicast conversion is in the SSID settings. If you can let me know which HiveManager version you are using, I can give you specific instructions on how to find this setting; HiveManager Classic (myhive.aerohive.com) or HiveManager (formerly NG, cloud.aerohive.com).
