PPSK for devices

Hi there, I am having a question regarding the Private Client Groups and especially the key based groups.

I thought that would work like this: I'm having a Group for devices I can manage with one PSK.

What is the best practice? I would like to have a PPSK where the user can sign up ( this is set and working now) but I want to additionally have the possibility to create PPSK for devices and add them in another group so that I can apply a different user profile to various clients and user groups. Isn't it that what the key-bases groups are for? What is the best way?

Forgot to mention the idea is to use a different VLANs.

For example if Users register -> group a -> vlan 1

Devices -> vlan 2
