Problems with WIFI point to point bridge using AP1130

I have deployed a P2P bridge using two AP1130 and directional antennas. It was running on 5G channel 112 (set manually to 112 with full transmission power). It has been running without any issues for several months.

Now the bridge is not working anymore. Of course I cannot access the remote AP anymore while the main AP (connected to ISP) is still online.

To me, the issue seems to be that the AP on the main site does not use channel 112 anymore even do it is still set manually to 112.

Devices have been running 8.1r2a, the AP on the main site has now been upgraded to 8.2r3 for troubleshooting reasons.

Something very strange as well: I cannot access the AP via SSH Availability. I can connect to the device but it does not accept the credentials (coming from the Network Policy).

Please note I have no physical access to the devices, I am in Luxembourg an the AP's are in Niger.

Any Ideas?

We'd need to be able to reach the CLI of the AP you suspect as being on the wrong channel so we can confirm what it is actually using now. If it is using a different channel, let's push a complete configuration out and re-test to see if it stays on the correct channel this time.

After reset to factory defaults, the AP does not accept my config (not sure if that was the case before as well but I would guess so)

What I did:

Reset device to Default
Complete Configuration Update
- with the option: Activate at next reboot (requires rebooting manually)
Check running config:
- "capwap client server name cloud-ie-cws-1.aerohive.com"
Check start-up config:
- The one I sent
Reboot
After reboot, start-up and running config are:
- "capwap client server name cloud-ie-cws-1.aerohive.com"

Is there any log I can find why the AP does not accept my configuration?

Attached again the config I want to run on the AP (copy from "Configuration View"; "complete")

I'd bet your issue is the fact that the default radio profile does not support DFS bands and you're attempting to set the AP to channel 112. Set the wifi1 radio to auto for the initial config push. Once that takes, then push a delta for the static channel.

Not really a way to test/confirm this, but I've run into similar situations before.

I cant deploy the config to the AP. No no idea why. Still the same as described above.

Anyone has an idea?

Could you try enabling DFS channels in your Radio Profiles and pushing the configuration out again? As Brian pointed out, you are using the default radio profiles which do not support some of the channels you are trying to use, and that conflict could cause a configuration push failure.
