Hi All,

I have recently purchased 2 x 2nd hand AP370s for use at home purely home/non-commercial use, they were recommended to me by a networking buddy as a cheaper solution than buying a new home use mesh networking system.

I have been able to upgrade HiveOS on one unit but the second unit will not upgrade or accept the configuration when pushed.

The non-working unit is running 6.5r4 and the functioning unit is running 6.5r11. Is there a way to copy the OS install file from the 6.5r11 unit to the 6.5r4 one and run a manual OS upgrade?

As I don't have a support contract I cannot download the OS file from this site.

Thanks you in advance,

Andrew.

There isn't a way to directly copy over configuration from one AP to another, but I've emailed you directly with the firmware file you'd need. I'd recommend using the Web UI to upgrade to 6.5r11, this guide will review how to do that: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Upgrading-AP-firmware-via-web-UI
