I don't see how firmware or any update would change things either. The BSSID incrementation looks something like this:

Base ethernet MAC of 11:22:33:44:55:60

The 1st 2.4 GHz SSID BSSID will be 11:22:33:44:55:74

The subsequent BSSIDs will increment the last digit by 1 per SSID.

The 1st 5 GHz SSID BSSID will be 11:22:33:44:55:84

With the subsequent BSSIDs incrementing the last digit again by 1 per SSID.

In theory if you removed SSIDs from your Network Policy and added them back in a different order, the BSSID to SSID correlation could have changed, but to my knowledge (which ends with the .11ac APs), this is about the only way. The .11ax APs and anything newer may differ in BSSID logic.

Out o curiosity, what problem was perceived by BSSIDs supposedly changing?

If you're asking for the ability to alter the pre-defined BSSIDs that are augments of the base radio MAC, I do not believe that is possible.

okay. Could it be that threw a firmware update the BSSID changed ? It changed by use and because of that we had some problems with some of our clients.

Some Raspberry Pis and other linux System that had the BSSID in embedded could not connect proper to the Network. It was fixed after a few hours. But thanks for the info.
