Hello Sam,

thank you for helping so quickly. The image file has been replaced. However, Hivemanager still does it not accept with the same message. Gzip now says: "invalid compressed data--format violated".

I downloaded it but when I try to do the update Hivemanager says: "The image file is invalid. It might be damaged or was not officially released by Aerohive."

When I try to unzip it gzip says: "unexpected end of file".

I downloaded it twice but with no success.

Also, if you try to update via "File from update server", the latest version you will get is 8.2r2c. I had the same issue with the 8.2r2e when I tried to update yesterday. So I used the "File from update server" method and to my surprise, the version was 8.2r2c. I went ahead and updated to 8.2r2c. And just to be sure, I just checked again. And it still is only offering 8.2r2c. So please update the file available on the update server too.

Hello Sam,

I just tried the most recent version: Same behavior as with the first version. I compared the first image with the third one: They are identical.

Thank you for letting me know. Rather than have you try again in a few hours, I'm going to reach out to the team replacing that file directly and I'll let you know when they've given us the all clear to try again. I appreciate you keeping me updated.

I did "tar tvzf hivemanager-8.2r2e-64b.signed4.tar.gz" and got a list of filenames and the message "gzip: stdin: invalid compressed data--format violated

tar: Unerwartetes Dateiende im Archiv.

tar: Error is not recoverable: exiting now"

When I do "gunzip hivemanager-8.2r2e-64b.signed4.tar.gz" the file becomes uncompressed and it says "gzip: hivemanager-8.2r2e-64b.signed4.tar.gz: decompression OK, trailing garbage ignored". The resulting tar-file can be extracted without any problems.

I tried the update of Hivemanager ....

and ....

it worked!

Thank you!
