The serial number belong to another VHM in Redirector

We have had this AP on the shelf for a number of years, all I know is it was a replacement for a faulty one we sent back many moons ago. I have just tried to add to our aerohive system and I get the message

(Unable to add serial number " 02301504092012 ". The serial number belong to another VHM in Redirector )

Could you tell me how to sort this out please.

Hi Andy, thanks for reaching out. I was able to find the old records for that device, but we will need permission from the previous owner before we can remove the old records.
