AP WiFi1 not running at selected power

I have several APs (250 and 150W) that have power selected for radio WiFi1 at 14. Most of the AP's are fine but 20% of them are running at 9 instead of 14.

I can't seem to figure out what is going on. The switch seems to be well below power budget and the power selector is the same as the ones that are working properly. 9 is what our bottom wattage (do not drop below) is set to, bud shouldn't they be running on what was selected?

Would you be able to add me as an external user to your HiveManager with the email address slynn@aerohive.com so I can take a look at your settings? No changes will be made, I just want to get an idea of what the settings are currently. If you are comfortable adding me, please also let me know the organization name for your VHM (found in Global Settings> Account Details), and what APs I should look at. Thank you for that access. In general it looks like your power settings are set to Auto, which means the AP will pick the best power level based on it's background scans, within the range you've set in the Radio Profile. This allows them to compensate for other signals in the area, so they can provide the best coverage without overlapping signals and causing packet damage.

All AP's in the dorm location are over ride to manual. These are the AP's in question.

Ap 20 and 21 are on auto, the rest seem to be set to manual. If you click on the green check mark icon next to the AP, and go to the Complete audit tab, do you see any pending changes waiting to go out?

If you click on the green check mark icon next to one of the dorm APs, and go to the Complete audit tab, do you see any pending changes waiting to go out?

Out of interest, which channels were the APs using that were using 9tx as the power?

40,44,48,52,36,60

Very interesting.. they are all lower numbers. Definitely looks related. Most of the ones that work are triple digits

Hm not the channels I'd expect! What's the country code of the APs (show boot-param) by CLI?

Additionally if you do a interface wifi1 radio power 14 on the CLI what's the message you get back from the AP?

Are you based in Canada? What is the country code for the APs that are showing the correct power level?

Hm regulatory. If you do a show int wifi1 and look for the calculated EIRP power what value does it come out with for both an AP that's limited to 9 and another thats on a higher numbered channel?

In the UK UNII-2 Ext. (DFS) channels (100-144) have a higher limit than the UNII1/2 channels, but that's quite a bit higher than 9. Not sure about the limits in Canada however

Yes I am. Country code for AP broadcasting at 14 are 124 as well.
