You can certainly throttle traffic on your backend network, but to do it through the Aerohive equipment we would have to use QoS, which is in the user profile. We can assign different user profiles based on attributes, but that is the only way we have of throttling traffic.

Hello, if I understand what you are asking for, you could sort users to different user profiles based on returned Radius attributes, and we could add QoS to the individual user profiles to throttle traffic from there. Is that what you are looking for?

Hi Sam, What we are looking to do is to use the standard radius attributes or vendor specific attributes to apply bandwidth throttling independent of user profiles on hivemanager, like most other vendors support.
