You'd want to click on that message to see the details of the failure. Most likely you'll get an error message that states that device is already in use by another VHM, and in that case you'll want to email me the serial number of the device at communityhelp@aerohive.com so I can get it freed up for you to add to your HiveManager.

I added the device successfully to HiveManager NG. But this is 30 day trial. Is there any free version for Hive manager. Also can you send me a link to setup advanced settings or configuration.

There is a free version of HiveManager, called HiveManager Connect. It is similar to the regular version of HiveManager (called Select, formerly NG), except the more advanced enterprise level features are not available in Connect. You can register for a Connect HiveManager by going to cloud.aerohive.com> Register. After you've gone through the registration process and set your password, you will be given three HiveManager choices, and you'll want to choose Connect.

Connect never needs an entitlement key, so it is always free to use. The only cost would be the original purchase of any hardware, and purchasing support if you would like to have technical support available for your Aerohive equipment. If you don't purchase support but have a technical question, you can post your question on this forum, and we'll get you an answer here.

As for your setup guides, if you can tell me a little about what you are setting up (i.e. PSK, PPSK, Radius, Mesh, internal DHCP, etc.), I can point you toward the right guides.

I need to setup with my internal LAN and connect to the internet. How can I do this? When I connected to my internal LAN I don’t see the SSID. I added the SSID and the AP template but no luck.

We have several options for setting up an SSID to allow you to connect to the internet with. If you want an SSID where everyone uses the same password to connect, you'll want a PSK SSID. If you want an SSID where everyone has their own password, you'll want to use PPSK. If you want an SSID with advanced security where everyone has their own username and password, you'd want a Radius SSID. We can also do authentication through social login or self registration. If you can tell me what you're looking for, I can point you to the right set up guide.

If you've created an SSID you'll need to apply the network policy to the AP and push out a complete configuration to your AP. After the AP reboots, you will see your SSID in your available wireless networks list on your device.

Unfortunately, we don't have any direct numbers, just the one for the technical support general line. If you'd rather open a support case, you can do that and request that a technician call you as soon as we have someone available. I've just checked your user record and enabled full community permissions for you so you can create a case.

How are you !! I have the same problem with a HiveAP 330 shows me the Error: device (s) failed to onboard, to integrate it into HiveManager but from what I understand did not remove the serial number of another HiveManger for which it can not be used.

The S / N of the AP-330 is: 33012060701985

Can you help me with the release of the team?

I have a problem to integrate 2 AP to a new Hive, the problem is that I have them in another Hive but I don't remember in which, could you help me remove this AP's from the Hive? These are the serial numbers:
