topic Re: Hello, we have an AP130 that has lost its settings or is in an unclear state. My problem, I can't do a factroy reset via reset button, because the AP is hung too high up and we need a crane to do it :( (made really stupid - I wasn't) in Aerohive Migrated Content

It's generally on port 22, but your network may be different. You could also console directly in to the AP if that works better for you.

But I can get to the LAN cable and there to the POE Injector as well.

Current state of the AP is, it gets an IP from our DHCP server and on the classic Hivemanager it is displayed as Unconfigured Devices. If I give it its own configuration and also a fixed IP, that goes so far. But now I push the config to the AP via Update Device (Perform a complte configuration..) doesn't happen anymore. The config is not pushed onto the device. Sometime there will be a timeout.

How can I configure the AP now? I can't access it via SSH and the IP I got from the DHCP server. I only see an open port 3007 ... via website https there is also nothing available 😞

Would you be able to enable CAPWAP debugs on the AP, replicate the update issue, then pull tech data and send that to me at communityhelp@aerohive.com?

This guide reviews how to enable CAPWAP debugs: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/CAPWAP-debugs

This guide reviews how to get tech data in ExtremeCloud IQ: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/How-to-download-tech-data-in-HiveManager

Hi Sam, there is no SSH on Port 22. I need this for debugs. Is it on a different Port?
