difference between select and connect ?

Hi sam,

I would like to know what is the difference between connect and select versions of hivemanafer ? and does it need subscription or license or i can use it only for a limited time ?

Select is the full featured version of ExtremeCloud IQ (ECIQ, formerly HiveManager NG), and requires a paid subscription to use after the first 30 days. Connect is the limited feature version of ECIQ that is free to use for life, but does not have some of the more advanced enterprise network and troubleshooting features. You can use Connect and then upgrade to Select by purchasing an entitlement key, but you can't go from a Select instance to a Connect instance, that would require registering for a new ECIQ instance and choosing Connect at the start.
