Hi Sam,

The update continues to fail. Do I need to purchase a subscription in order to update the firmware?

Also, I am trying to configure three of these units to work in a small office. They are live on my local wired network now, but are not broadcasting any SSID. Can you help me with this?

Can you tell me what firmware you are using currently? If the devices are on a version older than 6.5r3, you won't be able to manage them in the HiveManager and would need to update the firmware via the Web UI instead: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/Upgrading-AP-firmware-via-web-UI

I am logged in to the AP and at the Upgrade screen. Where can I locate the firmware file for downloading?

Hi Sam,

I did not receive the email with the firmware files attached. Can you check on them? My email address is office@cletech.us

Also, might you know why the SSID for the Aeorhive units is not showing up on my network scan? Do you think a firmware update will fix that?

Thanks for letting me know, I've sent that email again to office@cletech.us. I would need to see some tech data from the AP to start troubleshooting why the SSID is missing. If you could send that tech data to me at communityhelp@aerohive.com, I can let you know what I find.
