Dear support; Is it safe to update firmware and configuration after ExtremeCloud IQ conversion? Thanks in advance.

It's been a while since I logged into cloud.aerohive.com and just noticed the Extreme fromage.

I've 4x AP350 (fw 6.5r9a) and 3x Atom APs (fw 8.4r4). My 2 options to update are;

* Update device with all configurations. Used to reset device to ExtremeCloud IQ configuration settings.

* Upgrade to the latest version (10.0r7a).

Are these safe and applicable in my case?

Yes; The update in the platform doesn't affect your underlying configuration, thus shouldn't affect updating your APs.

The 350s will only be able to update to 6.5r12 just so you are aware (but this is fine).

There were some firewall rule updates (some added IPs) so I'd check these first just in case the update is blocked at all:
