I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the scope of the question. Do you mean you are unable to reach an internal address, or a server at a different site, when using the AP? Are you able to reach that address via a wired client?

Trying to reach an external ip address which we can reach through a wired connection and we can ping through a wireless connection but it will not run the terminal emulator program when run through the wireless connection.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm doing some research in to BlueZone on my side, but in the mean time it would help if we could see a packet capture taken while you try to reach the external address. The following articles will review how to set up and run a packet capture, depending on the platform you are using:
