Okay, so go into the 650x template you've got created, scroll down to the bottom Eth section. Click the plus next to either the eth0 or eth1 port, configure it as an uplink, and any other settings you need such as SNMP etc. Save port type. Change both eth0&1 to the new port you've created. Reaggregate the ports if not already selected and this will use the new port object you've created. Save template.

It looks like just a delta upload from what I can see. But if you're concerned about a site going down, I'd try it on one AP first to validate if a reboot is required or not.

Hi Jozef,

You can't modify default objects in HiveManager.

Therefore instead of trying to edit the existing port type, create a new port and enable SNMP on this. This should then be successful.

So ok, please help mi with this, how to do it on LIVE site, there is tens of AP650X they have a 2 eth ports bounded to one red0 interface, i need to enable SNMP on all of them, so i believe that i need to do that on red0. I have a network policy and in device template i have AP650X

AP650X-Nufringen (default). Is there a way how to edit exisitng one ? or i need to add second device template ? Or i need to select eth 0 and eth 1 and choose in existing template in asign create new ? what will happen in wired interfaces, it will add a new port type with SNMP enabled and i am done ? I don't want to get site down, so i am just asking. Please help. Thanks

I tested it on my lab AP and it's worked. So really thank you for your help. No reboot needed. Just update configuration. 
