Is there a way to selectively hide a SSID but keep it enabled at the AP level?

Is there a way to selectively hide a SSID but keep it enabled at the AP level? In other words, hide a SSID at some APs, but not others. I know you can do it at the SSID level...but that's an all or nothing setting. I know there's no setting exposed in HiveManger Classic, but perhaps in the CLI??

You should be able to use the CLI Supplement and apply the following command:

ssid <string> hide-ssid

Apply that CLI Supplement to the APs where you wish the SSID hidden and update their config (you used to have to push a complete config for CLI Supplement to work - unsure if that is still the case).

Thanks Brian!... I see now.! The command is there, natively,,,if you want to ssh into the particular AP and execute then save config. So the CLI Supplement is more of "batch" way of doing it...by applying particular command in mass?? I'm I correct in how I'm thinking?

Yes, exactly. It lets the APs retain those commands even if you push an update globally. As if you were to simply apply that command via SSH, the next time you push a delta, the diff between the HM config and what should be on the AP will undo your manual command. Where the CLI Supplement will make it persistent.
