Hello, you'll need to get the AP up to 6.5r3 in order to manage it with the HiveManager. I've emailed you directly with the firmware file you'll need, as well as a guide that reviews how to update firmware via the Web UI of the AP. Please let me know if you have any issues with updating the device.

Hi James, you should have full access to Hive Community now, and you'd find the firmware under the downloads tab> HiveOS 6.5x. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

You would have to purchase some level of support with Aerohive to have access to the download files on the Community.
