I've just followed these guides, but if I select Client Mode for the interface wifi0, the interface wifi1 is automatically setted in client access mode, without the possibility to set the backhaul mode.

This would be expected behavior as the purpose of AP client mode is to use a WLAN connection for backhaul in lieu of the LAN connection. To have backhaul over both would create a loop. The LAN connection may now be used to, say bridge a wired device.

What are you attempting to accomplish?

The function I need is, as you said, use the WLAN for the backhaul and the LAN to bridge a wired device, but when I push a complete update I loss the backhaul connection, so the upgrade process fails.

I have troubleshooted and seems that when I push a complete update, the wifi interface mode switch from backhaul to wan...

Hi boy, I've found the issue. With version 8.x everything works fine, with version 10.0r5 there is no way to do a complete update or a firmware update.

Now I'll open a case.
