Good Afternoon -

I am new to the Extreme boards, but a long time user on the Brocade forums so this is my maiden voyage!

I have an opportunity to acquire a number of Brocade: BR-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC routers for a small company we are working with. They were purchased in 2016 and we have been provided all of the paperwork for review. We have other sources telling us that they are EOS/EOL/EOSupport. Our primary concern is the End of Support date. Brocade contacts pointed us to Extreme support - where we referenced these two docs:

6/2019
https://cloud.kapostcontent.net/pub/fb85daa5-9ba5-4a0d-83cd-cea31889145e/oracle-updated-eos-for-upload-product-end-of-sale-report-9oct18-mf-dot-pdf-?kui-=40it8AWU5Meh

6/3/2019
https://cloud.kapostcontent.net/pub/2c5851b0-2d49-4db3-bf8d-c1848f4e4f28/eos-ces-2048cx-cer-2024c-rt-cer-2024f-rt-and-cer-2048cx-rt?kui=CIga6C-6dCdo76f2I2BYYg

We don’t see any references to our specific model - we actually see that our model is recommended as the current purchase path.

Are there any other resources that anyone could recommend for research? Or are these the go to docs,

Thank You!!

Hello, the product BR-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC is part of the replacement router.

If you didn't find them on the end of support/sale document that means Extreme has not yet decided the end of support date for that as of now.

That is how we are reading it as well. As of now, it does not appear to have been announced EOS/EOL/EOSupport.
Actually, I am not sure what is meant by 'is part of the replacement router'?

BR-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC this a model of Brocade router (not any type of part)

These docs seem to indicate that it is a suggested replacement router for this router: NI-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC

'These docs seem to indicate that it is a suggested replacement router for this router: NI-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC" Correct, the NI-CER-2024F-RT-AC has gone end of sale and will soon go end of support. (https://cloud.kapostcontent.net/pub/fb85daa5-9ba5-4a0d-83cd-cea31889145e/oracle-updated-eos-for-upload-product-end-of-sale-report-9oct18-mf-dot-pdf?kui=40it8AWU5Meh1ix8F7REag).

Extreme suggests to use BR-CER-2024F-4X-RT-AC as a replacement for it.
