topic Configure Virtual IP on VDX6740 in Data Center (VDX)

Good Day guys, my problem is a simple one. We have two VDX in logical chassis mode. We can configure VLANs and assign to those VLANS the appropriate IPs with virtual-ip and vrrp-groups.

When we try to ping the virtual ip addresses that are the gateways for the VLANS, we do not get any response. Routing works though as we can ping devices in other vlans. I’ve read that the data plane and management plane has been separated since NOS 5.0. As per the manual, it would appear that I need to enable fabric-virtual-gateway.

As I have not done this before, I would appreciate any help / guidance on how to complete this.

Kind Regards

Hugo
