Does VDX support GRE tunnels or VPN tunnels?

Does VDX support NAT?

or it just supports L3 services?

Pavan,

NOS only supports overlay-gateway/VXLAN. The NetIron and SLX platforms supports GRE. None of the SRA Extreme products; MLX, VDX, SLX provide any NAT functionality.

Does it support CDP because I enabled it in the config(protocol cdp) but could not find the command to check the CDP neighbor

It is my understanding, after reviewing the Config Reference Guide and the NOS Management Guide, that CDP was implemented originally for vCenter integration and adding interfaces to port profiles not for creating neighbors with Cisco devices. Since NOS 4.x LLDP was also supported for vCenter, however the original CDP command was never depreciated.
