Hi Mark,
the following settings should work:

Configure the application's serial settings to VT100 emulation, 9600 bps, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, Xon/Xoff flow control, no parity.

Hi thanks for the response, I used comm1 port with your settings and managed to get into the cli prompt.

do you still need this, or does the documentation from Zdenek in the thread https://community.extremenetworks.com/extreme/topics/nat-pat-setting-on-enterasys-xp-2400-256 suffice?

I'll have to look if I can still find the file, I could not find it easily. 😞

My problem was already solved on that thread as you could see, so i'm okay for now.
If you could find this file, i'll be thankful cause this file seems very intuitive and interesting to have as well. 
