Atom AP30 client mode

According to the datasheet of the Atom AP30:
With client mode, Atom AP30 can even mesh to 3rd party networks.

But exactly how do you do this? I couldn't found proper documentation.
I've added the device to the extremecloudiq.com portal succesfully. I also did some config test with client mode and backhaul mesh in a network policy. Updated the AP30 to the latest firmware succesfully.

After I login in the local web portal of the AP30 and go to ‘Client Mode SSID’ it says ‘WiFi disconnected’. There are also no scanned SSID. If I choose for ‘Other SSIDs’ and put in the right config for my third party network, it says wifi connecting...After a couple of seconds it says again wifi disconnected.

Is there some proper documentation of how to mesh to a 3rd party network?

Thanks! That was the missing piece! Don't know why I have missed that…

There is another problem, why it didn't want to succeed. But that has to do something (don't know why) with my wifi network (Ubiquiti) which I want to mesh with. This must be some security setting. because when I mesh the Atom AP30 with some old school wifi network, it connects with no problems.
