For those kinds of processes the AP will rely on information picked up from background scans, which can be seen in the tech data file for your AP. The maps are more for you to manage your deployment, so we can avoid signal overlap and still cover your entire space with a working signal. If you can upload an accurate floor plan and scale it, that'll help with deployment and some potential troubleshooting, but it won't affect the AP function or traffic flow. Hope that helps!
