topic Disabling Application Statistics in ExtremeCloud IQ

Hi guys,

I’m fairly new to CloudIQ. I started using it a week ago and everything is working fine until now. I have one question regarding the privacy of the users. When you navigate to Manage → Clients → Select a Client → Network Usage
There you can see which applications the client used and uses. Most of this lists just the protocol (e.g. HTTP) but some are really specific (Instagram, Youtube and so on)

Is there any way to disable this feature for specific APs, SSIDs, Policies? I don’t want to globally delete all applications under Configure → Applications.

Thanks and best regards

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

If you want to disable application reporting I believe within the policy > additional settings > Device Data Collection And Monitoring > Turn off “Application Visibility and Control” is the setting you need to change.
