As a rule of thumb: Use one Management System for a device at a time. XIQ-Pilot licenses are consumed by XIQ-SE and XIQ but you must decide which system to use. You can also run some devices managed by XIQ and some managed by XIQ-SE.

I have some deployments where XIQ-SE is used with Extreme Control for 802.1x/MAC authentication for cloud APs and other devices (switches) are managed by XIQ-SE

We have XIQ for managing our APs with CoPilot licenses.

I have read somewhere that the licenses are portable between XIQ & XIQ - Site engine.

Does that mean i can download XIQ - Site engine OVA & use the same licenses as on XIQ on XIQ - Site engine on-premise?

Or will re-using the same license in two places cause a violation?
