Aerohive ap230 firmware hack.

When a i purchase used aerohive ap230 from eBay and wish to upgrade the software i can't because I can not have access to extreme portal account to download the firmware.

How about if i purchase brand new aerohive access point off ebay and use that to get extreme portal account access? That way i can also upgrade the firmware of these other ap230s.

Is this possible?

You could register for a Connect account, it is free and allows you to manage up to 10 devices.

Hello @Ntegeibra,

The AP230 AP are EoL so you won't be able to purchase a new one. As JA said, you may want to register for a Connect account and onboard this AP. Once onboarded you can configure and upgrade it.
