hello,

I am confuse about the roam time on extremecloudiq client detail page. the laptop sit still for the whole day, associated to the same ap, so what does roam time meaning?

It could be that the device attempted to connect to a different AP briefly, which would constitute the signal roaming. This could be caused by a number of factors; if the neighboring AP has an overlapping signal with the original AP, if there is high interference near the original AP, etc. Hope that help!

I just dont understand, of coz those two ap230 has an overlapping signal zone, otherwise how could the client roaming seamless from original to the neighboring?

Those two ap230 have different channel, original’s channel is 36 and neighboring’s channel is 157.
