XMC WebView accessing GUI using https

Hi,

when I want to open any switch GUI via Network → Devices → WebView, the new tab opens up with a redirect to port 80. All my switches are configured for https access only.
I found this article, where the exact same problem is described:

Is this workaround still needed to solve this issue, or is there a more simple way to access the GUI using port 443 with XMC Version 8.3.1?

You can also rightclick the switch -> configure -> change WebView URL to https://%IP%:443
