topic Netsight: why are there times when netsight does not show Device family or type information? in ExtremeCloud IQ- Site Engine Management Center

I want to be able to get Netsight device type and family information for the devices connected to our wireless network. the majority of the time Netsight will tell me if it is an android device or apple device. Other times it doesn't give me any hostname, family, or type.

What conditions must be met for this information to available in Netsight?
