EMC API call isn't working

Hello together,

I have a problem with an API call via Webservice. I try to add an Switch to NAC. The switch exists in Netsight.

I try this request (HTTPS:// I have omitted for display reasons):

192.168.155.51:8443/axis/services/NACConfigurationWebService/createSwitch?nacApplianceGroup=Default&ipAddress=192.168.155.100&switchType=%22Layer%202%20Out-Of-Band%22&primaryGateway=192.168.155.50&authType=0&attrsToSend=0&isRadiusAccountingEnabled=true

and I receive the following error message in the browser:

http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
unknown

I tested also with values for "authType","attrsToSend" with the same result.

If I try to delete another Switch with:

192.168.155.51:8443/axis/services/NACConfigurationWebService/deleteSwitch?ipAddress=192.168.155.99

all works finde. So I think authentication and IPs are correct (and doubleproved!).

I hope anyone with better eyes can see my error. I think all is correct.

For the sake of completeness. I am using EMC with version 7.1.2.12

Hello,

for the sake of completeness. You must not omit any value! Therefore for example you can use "secondaryGateway=&" if you have no secondary gateway.

This was the solution for my problem.
