In oneview I can export to a PDF but I would like to export all the data to Excel.
You are also able to export these via oneview, but only via a Custom Report Tab.
It will not be as detailed as mp2014 method however.
Hello,

in the near future we won't have the lovely Java NAC-Manger for the scheduled export like this:

Therefore the question is. How can I export the data in the same way via Extreme Control Center?

The way Thomas showed above delivers to less informations. Many of my customers need all Infos from the table and not only a small part of this.

Are there any new ways?

I know I can do it via Webservices. But this is not very handy.

Regards

Hello Mike,

no, I am afraid not. I know the PDF but my customers use the exported data to create data for different reportings and as import source for other IT Systems. They need a csv for import.

If there is a file in file system or script on the operating system (we use Netsight as Linux appliance) that will be ok for me. I need no GUI.

As I mentioned Webservices are not very handy and if I have to export 35.000 End-Systems via "axis/services/NACWebService/getallEndSystem" is very very slow!

The NAC Request Tool can be a workaround for me to export all "End Systems" from NAC/NetSight.
But will be the NAC Request Tool still available if the Java tools are no longer supported?
Hello Stephan,

the backend api will still exists, when the java frontends are removed. So you can use the
nac request tool or something else for the api. But is there really a difference between
"axis/services/NACWebService/getallEndSystem" and the nac request tool? It uses
the soap api. And it is just a reference implemantation (with really bad cli arg parsing) for
the soap api.

you are right I didn't see a difference in speed between NAC Request tool and a direct call via WebServices in my test.
Then I will probably have to write a small script for my customers, if the java tool no longer exists.
Hi all.
I'm facing the same "issue": I'm on version 8.0.3.53 and I'd like to be able to export in some useable file format (csv, txt, xls, or simiilar) the end-systems list (after applying a filter).
I tried with the "axis/services/NACWebService/getAllEndSystem" path but it did not work. I get following error displayed:
"The endpoint reference (EPR) for the Operation not found is /axis/services/NACWebService/getAllEndSystem and the WSA Action = null"

Any help will be much appreciated!
Thanks,
