Carsten, Are you saying Netsight is not receiving traps for bfd from EXOS switches?

bfd traps are enabled and the trap receiver is the Netsight server?

* C2.20 # sh snmp traps bfd SNMP Traps for session-down : Disabled
SNMP Traps for session-up : Disabled
SNMP Traps for Batch Delay : 1000 ms
* C2.20 # en snmp traps bfd
* C2.21 # sh snmp traps bfd
SNMP Traps for session-down : Enabled
SNMP Traps for session-up : Enabled
SNMP Traps for Batch Delay : 1000 ms

Thanks Mike - this part is fine.

But when trying to create Alarms in Netsight, triggered by BFD SNMP traps, I cannot find them inside the list of traps. Not sure if I need to import some custom MIBs into Netsight?

As by now I am creating Alarms matching on syslog messages "phrase content", and that's fine, but being able to trigger alarms on snmp traps would be nice as well 🙂
