Change NetSight mgmt IP

Example : mgmt IP from 172.168.0.1 change to 172.168.50.1 .

After changed the NetSight mgmt IP and i at webUI click on the console link show me error below :

was the DNS entry updated accordingly?
after you changed the Netsight VM IP, did you restart the server service?
at the top of the server.log file it should tell you the IP that the netsight service is binding to, does that reflect the new IP?

I no idea of that cause is my server team member assist me to change the IP .

Do you know what the hostname of the Netsight VM is? can you go into the client machine and do a nslookup on that?
for example, if my netsight server is netsight.extremenetworks.com I would type into a command line:
nslookup netsight.extremenetworks.com
and see if the IP resolves correctly.

aside from that have you tried to reboot the netsight server? you can go into the shell (SSH or keyboard/monitor) and type in "reboot".

can you login to OneView? you can go on the administration tab at the Netsight start page, login with your credentials and then see the server log in the "server log" tab.
I am assuming you are not using RADIUS or LDAP authentication for the authentication.

If you cannot login to that, you will need to access it via SSH. the server.log file is located at /usr/local/Extreme_Networks/NetSight/appdata/logs/
you can type:
grep binding server.log
and the last entry should show you what netsight is binding to.

We probably should wait for the official GTAC answer on how to change the Netsight IP, but it is not as simple as simply changing the IP of the machine. typically I would suggest a reinstall of the Netsight software. Is that possible?

it show me {User Login Failed. Unable to authenticate user} when login oneview.

If suspect not using RADIUS or LDAP authentication for the authentication .

I can configure back to old IP then configure connect to Radius .

Can i say if i connected to radius mean i can change my mgmt ip ?

how did you change the IP initially?
did you run dnetconfig to change it, or just modify system files?

When you changed the address, did you run 'dnetconfig' as described here: https://gtacknowledge.extremenetworks.com/articles/How_To/How-to-change-IP-on-virtual-NetSight-serve...

That would be the first place to start. There are additional portions of the software and database that this script will also update versus just changing the IP address on the OS.
