Prevent device alarms from crossing over alarm groups

Hi again

In netsight, i have created various folders to put devices into. I have the same devices in different folders which I have applied different alarms to. The problem I have is that the different alarms all leach between the folders so you would have a alarm indication on a folder for an alarm that doesn't relate to that particular folder. Can this be prevented?

Hello,

You can create alarms for specific device type groups in NetSight Console.

If you go into the alarms manager at the bottom under "additional criteria" you can select the device type group to assign the alarm to.
