as far I know..yes the Controller can do it by him self without the XMC.&lt;BR /&gt;
But depends on the code both are using the same database for the OUI .&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
"Device was misidentified in dhcp option 55. ( DHCP signature or MAC address's OUI)."&lt;BR /&gt;

With the Version 10 of the Identify wireless firmware, it identifies device types, without the need for NAC.&lt;BR /&gt;
Can XMC report on the device types ect without NAC, reading this information from the wireless controller?</description>
