Netsight licence V7 will work for Extreme Management Center V8?

Hi,

If I upgrade to NMS V8, will I need to upgrade V7 license key to v8 as well or it will work out of the box?

A license generated after 6/1/2017 will work for 8.x.
So it is likely it will have to be regenerated. However, if it was regenerated after 6/1/2017 - you can use it for version 7 or 8.

Our license upgraded from v6 to v7 on 07/jun/2016. So we need to upgrade to V8 again? What is the minimum service contract for software upgrades btw?

Yes you will.
The upgrade is based on the NMS-XXX license. So you are not re-licensing all NMS related products (Analytics flows, appliances, etc), effectively the server itself. You want it to be the same contract coverage as before, or it will regenerate a license with less features.
