Purview - are fingerprint updates included in a new version

I've only a Netsight-ADV without additional flow licenses.

As per KB article below I don't get fingerprint updates,

If I upgrade Purview are the fingerprint updates included from version to the newer one ?

Hi Ron,

Just wanted to make sure your question.

As per mentioned article evaluation or NMS-ADV solutions will not have these features as default.

We have to install a flow license to get those features.

Hi Suresh,

let's say I've installed Purview 6.3.0.142 - I get no fingerprint update without a flow license - I get that.

If I upgrade now to Purview 6.3.0.162 will it include the up-to-date fingerprints that were released till this release or does each Purview version include only a base set and I'll never get any other fingerprints without a flow license.

Hope it makes more sense now....

Thanks for your explanation.
As per my understanding we have to buy a separate flow license if you upgrade also.

Let me have a rain check on this one if we have any new change of process.
