topic Saving CISCO confs using Netsight error in ExtremeCloud IQ- Site Engine Management Center

Hello, everybody!

I have Netsight 6.3, several Summits and few CISCO 2960s and 3560.

When I try to download 3560 conf over Inventory I get:

"Warning - The ability to archive configuration files for this device has been disabled. Capacity planning data may still have been collected even though the device archived without a configuration file."

The password is correct. What is the problem?

When I do the same thing with X670 everything is OK - i get *.zip.

Many thanks in advance,

Ilya
Hi Ilya,

If you have not done so already, can try the following?:

1. In Inventory Manager select one of the Cisco switches
2. To the right, click on the Image Information tab
3. in the MIB and Script Overrides section, for Firmware Download MIB select Script, for the Configuration MIB select Script. For the Device Family Definition File Name, select Cisco Systems-TFTP
4. Click Save on the far right of the window

Confirm that the SNMP profiles/credentials are correct and see if the config download works.

Regards
Hello, Tony!

The problem was with my network interfaces, I've checked Netsight tftp-address configuration and corrected it.

Now it works perfectly well.

Thank you.
