What is the initial login to Extreme Management center and console for netsight ?

Hi,

I installed netsight for learning purpose and when i enter to Extreme Management Center and the Console i didn't get what i should put as user or password ?

During the initial setup you'd set the username - default is root I think.

If you've set another user you'd need to set a password in the OS.

root i think for linux usesr but i am using netsight on Windows

the username and password is the same what you used during the installation. so if you run the installation as "USER1" and password is "Password1" then you can login as "USER1" and password "Password1". ExtremeManagementCenter (NetSight) is by default using authentication of the underlay operating system.

if you deploy Virtual machine, then you are asked by initial wizard (on the console) for root username and password = you can use that.

I think it'S the same like for XIQ-SE : "On Linux this is almost always root. On Windows, this is the domain\username of the person logged in to the Windows system when the installation occured."
