How to setup accounting to FortiAuthenticator (Fortigate) , authentication should remain on XMC/Control

Hi community,

I'm looking to setup accounting towards FortiAuthenticator, after successfully authenticating using Control.
I found a guide using connect: but this looks more like a full integration of the Fortigate/FortiAuthenticator into XMC, with providing profiles etc, which is not what we are looking for.

Just sending the accounting information towards a Fortigate (username + IP . So no profile or nothing).

is page 3-5 for Extreme side, enough for this? (although in the options settings I can see thins like, Ignore SSIDs and default endsystem groups... Nothing that is really needed for this imo.)

Hi Jasper,

Do you have any guides on how to setup RADIUS auth. with FortiAuthentiator? I'm trying to set up one of our VDXs' to use FAC as the RADIUS server without any support from Extreme and Fortinet and I've hit a wall!
