Updating NAC

Hello,
I have two questions about the NAC system. First, our VDI image runs with a Ubuntu 14.04lts (64bit). Does the operating system need to be updated? And the NAC is version 8.1.0.52, can I update it directly to 8.3.3.11 or should I schedule intermediate steps like 8.1... or 8.2...?

The .bin file to update the appliance installs the new OS version needed. There is no need to do anything yourself to update the OS separately. I don’t recall any step upgrade needed within the version 8 of XMC - you should be able to update from 8.1 to 8.3. Make sure you backup and copy the backup to another location, per normal best practices.

Hi anybody,,

our nac-system shows nac1 "End-System Capacity": 2146/3000" and nac2 "End-System Capacity:
1554/3000".

What happens during the update with the clients on e.g. nac1?

Our license is 5000.
